Bug Zapping Lights
Such a thing exists! You can strategically hang bug zapping lights around your yard anywhere you have an electrical outlet. This is a non-chemical way to prevent mosquitoes in your yard and pool area. Here are a few to consider:
Torches
If you are looking for some torches to provide ambient light and keep the bugs away, there are many options. The traditional Tikki torch with bug fuel is a very popular and effective way to go. Tabletop torches are also an option and they come in a wide variety of styles. We like these on Amazon:
Candles etc.
If you aren’t excited about torches, perhaps a candle will suit your buggy needs. There are lots of options with candles, both natural repellent and stronger, more chemical ones. Here are just a few we found on Amazon:
Bug Spray
Bug sprays can be full of DEET or full of more environmentally friendly ingredients. Some sprays have a higher percentage of DEET than others, so read the label carefully. It is a personal preference, so here are a few options for both:

Ticks
You can’t really escape ticks anymore, they seem to be everywhere. Unfortunately, Lyme’s disease has become a reality for many.
